A few letters have left for America now and a few more are planned. * Still no listening here - I will be on early September. * My old R392 has found a new home in Stockholm. * As listening begins I hope to have made some antenna work to meet this winter's special needs! At least one shorter wire for disturbed geomagnetic field conditions...
The X-band has a few stations to look for now as darkness returns. Not heard in Sweden are a couple of California stations (Not possible here until late September at the earliest.) but more interesting are the Texas stations now on (1620 & 1660) or about to sign on (1610) and the new Alabama station on 1700! This winter is probably going to to be "a waste of time" trying for finer DX but the X-band can perhaps give something nice....
